Thanks to CompTIA's volunteer leaders and staff, who came on strong in 2021, rallying around opportunities and initiatives that would drive the industry forward and make it a better place for all of us.

From the pandemic and unprecedented business disruption to a stressful election, 2020 has been… a memorable year to forget. Here are 10 things the CompTIA membership team is thankful for, silver linings that have helped us get through the past 11 months.

On behalf of the CompTIA membership team, here are some things we’re thankful for not just this time of year, but every day throughout the year.

The rapid pace at which technology evolves is no secret – especially to those of us immersed in the business of technology. It’s our job at CompTIA to provide you, our members, with what you need to flourish. Much was accomplished this year – make sure you’re taking advantage of everything we have to offer.

CompTIA works year-round to advance the technology industry on many fronts – from events to research and so much more. With all that in mind, we’d like to run down our plans for this year, so you’ve got it all in one place and get as excited as we are about CompTIA’s 2018!

This time of year, friends and family come together to say thanks. So CompTIA wants to be sure to thank its most vital resource – our members. CompTIA’s community of Premier Members and Registered Users help the association in so many ways. Here’s how.

After a whirlwind three days of CompTIA ChannelCon, I am on my way home. The captain just informed us that we are the “first revenue flight” for this brand new airplane. This seems oddly appropriate as I reflect on my takeaways from the event. So much ground was covered in the many community and council meetings, training and education sessions, keynotes and networking opportunities at ChannelCon, but everything seemed to revolve around the concept of new models.

CompTIA is no longer the best-kept secret in town. The association has come up with a new, open-access membership model that enables both individuals and businesses to benefit directly from CompTIA resources, communities and programs at no cost, while simultaneously bringing more exclusivity and value to our dues-paying members.
